St. Ann’s Mission

“I hope this will make a difference in the lives of the residents living at St. Ann’s and also contribute to St. Ann’s mission of care and service to older adults” ~ Joan Frazier
St. Ann’s Community had been a big part of Joan Frazier’s life for more than 30 years, providing care for her mother, other family members, and herself. A generous donor, she supported St. Ann’s through annual gifts, included the Foundation in her estate plan, and encouraged fellow Chapel Oaks residents to explore estate planning and philanthropy. In 2025, Joan was recognized for her commitment to St. Ann’s, receiving the Martin F. Birmingham Leader in Philanthropy award.
Following Joan’s passing in December 2025, her significant estate gift established the Joan H. Frazier Endowed Scholarship and the Joan H. Frazier Life Enrichment Endowment, ensuring ongoing support for our employees, elders, and programs in perpetuity. Joan’s generosity and dedication to caring for others will continue to shape St. Ann’s Community for generations to come.
